School officials in Greene County have proposed the building of a sports complex for the students of Bloomfield schools.
They are hoping that new athletic facilities will help to keep enrollment from declining, and maybe bring in more students.
The idea would include new tennis courts, a track, baseball and softball fields and what ever else they can get for about $2 million dollars.
With Indiana’s voucher program, students can attend about any school their parents can afford to transport them to.
So this will be a recruiting tool.
The Bloomfield school district is also planning on an upgrade of the out of date Heating and Air Conditioning systems.
