The plan for a new swimming pool facility for the Vigo County Schools moves another step closer to reality.
The cut off for a remonstrance against the proposal was Monday and no one has filed. The school corporation claims that all three high school pools are in need of repair and the nearly $10 million dollar project is the best way to solve the problem.
This new plan would create one facility for all of the schools to share. Now officials need to find a suitable site that is equally convenient for students of all schools.
