A new way to vote here in Vigo County is on the way.
Vigo County Commissioners are considering a switch to touchscreen voting systems.
It could eventually save the county close to $1 million dollars over the current system by requiring fewer workers.
This is part of doing away with precinct voting and moving to voting centers.
The Vigo County Election Board will schedule a public hearing within the next few weeks to display the new way to vote.
