According to U.S. News & World Report 2014 college guidebook, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has been ranked the nation’s top undergraduate engineering college for the 15th year.
In addition to being rated first among colleges that offer the bachelor’s or master’s as its top degree in engineering, Rose-Hulman is ranked No. 1 by U.S. News in individual programs including: chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. The list includes elite institutions in California, Boston and the nation’s military academies. Rose wasn’t the only Wabash Valley School to make the U.S. News list.
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has moved up to No. 18 from No. 27 as one of the Best Regional Colleges in the Midwest.
Saint Mary’s was recognized for having one of the highest percentages of classes with fewer than 20 students at 93 percent and the school has a 62-percent graduation rate.
