An arrest has been made in Effingham County, Illinois in connection with the death of 7 year old Willow Long.
22 year old Justin Deryke, of Watson, Ill., was arrested early this morning and will face murder charges in connection with the death of Long.
The body of a small child was found last night by volunteers that were searching for 7 year old Willow Long.
Effingham Sheriff's Department says no positive identification of the body has been made.
An autopsy to determine the child's identity and cause of death is scheduled for today.
Police are continuing their search for missing seven year old Willow Long.
She was last seen Sunday morning.
Authorities believe that she may have wandered away from her Watson home.
Many volunteers have searched the area but so far nothing has been found.
Since police believe that she wandered away from home and was not abducted there has been no amber alert.
Of course if police are wrong in their assumption as to what happened to the little girl it could be too late.
