A Parke County man charged with murdering a Rosedale woman will stand trial February 24th next year.
52 year old Earl L. Edwards, of Rosedale, has been charged with murder of 55 year old Kathryn Bays.
The woman’s body was found June 14 in the kitchen of the home the couple shared in the 2900 block of West Rose Hill Lane.
An autopsy identified the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.
Edwards was apprehended after he fled to Alpharetta, Georgia.
He could be sentenced to 65 years in prison on the murder charge if convicted.
