At last night’s Vigo County Area Planning Commission meeting the brakes were put on proposed new apartments on the south side.
Cobblestone Crossings Developers have asked the commission to build more apartments.
Previously there have been complaints from residents of subdivisions next to Cobblestone.
Cobblestone has agreed to build a dividing wall between one set of apartments and Woodgate subdivision.
There was not such wall in the plans for the proposed new apartments next to Viscaya Point homeowners.
There were also concerns expressed by home owners over alleged drainage problems. Area Planning decided not to give a favorable recommendation to the project until there is a fix to the problem of the missing wall in the plans.
