Two Republican Illinois gubernatorial candidates have chosen their running mates.
GOP Sen. Kirk Dillard has chosen state Rep. Jil Tracy as his running mate.
Tracy is a Quincy Republican who first took office in 2006 and is a member of the bipartisan pension panel that is trying to solve the states nearly $100 billion pension problem.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Rutherford has chosen Chicago attorney Steve Kim as his running mate.
The 42-year-old from Northbrook unsuccessfully challenged Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan in 2010.
Kim is a Korean American who immigrated to the U.S. with his family at a young age and is a citizen.
