Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller was in town Tuesday to kick off a new statewide public awareness campaign.
It is something that we have all known about for years and now it has a name and it is called smurfing.
That is when you buy cold medicines in order to make meth.
Across the state pharmacies will voluntarily show posters and signs pointing out that it is a felony and explain to the uninformed what smurfing is all about.
Meanwhile this year over 1,000 meth labs have been busted in Indiana. That is up over 16-percent from last year and 30-percent from 2011.
If you think you've found a meth lab, or have any information, call the Indiana State Police Meth Hotline at (800) 453-4756, or report it at http://www.in.gov/isp/2825.htm
