The Indianapolis Colts signed troubled receiver Da’Rick Rogers on Monday.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver had a troubled college career being suspended at Tennessee for a bar brawl and acknowledged failing multiple drug tests after transferring to Tennessee Tech.
Rogers went undrafted in this year’s draft and opted to sign with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent. He didn’t make the cut in Buffalo but Indianapolis is willing to give him a chance.
The Colts also acquired Cam Johnson over the weekend in a trade with San Francisco. The 6-foot-3, 258 pound linebacker could add an extra pass rusher to the Colts defense.
Running back Kerwynn Williams was signed to the practice squad.
