Katy Perry will debut her brand-new single "Unconditionally" live at this year's MTV EMA Awards, which will be held in Amsterdam on November 10. You'll be able to watch the show in the U.S. on MTV starting at 6:30 p.m.
Katy has won three MTV EMA awards, and even hosted the ceremony in 2008 and 2009. She also performed on the show each year from 2008 through 2010. In a statement, Katy said, "I'm so excited to return to the EMA stage! I have tailor-made a performance of a brand new song from PRISM to share with fans from around the world."
In addition to Katy, Will Ferrell will be a "special correspondent" during the telecast, appearing as his Anchorman character, Ron Burgundy . In a promo, Will as Burgundy jokes about some of pop music's top acts. "Katy Perry, you have huge hits. I love them. I really do. They are truly impressive. Congratulations on your massive hits," he says.
As previously reported, Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are the lead nominees for the MTV EMAs, with five nods apiece.
