It seems like everyone wants to build a new swimming pool or water play ground and some in Paris are no different.
A recent joint meeting of the Paris Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs talked about the idea and some say that a splash park that is zero depth would be accessible to those with disabilities and would make the Edgar County town a destination spot.
Parks in Danville and other towns have been used to show what might be possible.
The question is if it is built will they come.
That won’t be known until it is built.
Many details still need to be worked out including just where to build it, how much money will be needed and if there are those who would make contributions to help build it.
