The Indiana State University Board of Trustees approved raises for all faculty and staff.
President Dan Bradley attributes the increase to enrollment jumps and good budgeting, let’s not forget that earlier this year the trustees approved hikes in tuition.
This all occurred while some officials complained about not having enough state funding.
Employees will see the increase at the end of the month.
Even though money seems to be tight the taxpayer funded state university, it is moving ahead with their master plan that calls for a new football stadium between US41 and the Wabash River.
The trustees have agreed to acquire the 2 ½ acre site of the former MAB paint factory.
