Vigo County Area Planning puts the brakes on more development at Cobblestone Crossing.
The commission was asked last night to give final approval for Cobblestone to proceed with building more apartments at their site in southern Vigo County.
There have been problems in the past with apartments being built very close to neighboring homes in a nearby subdivision.
Cobblestone was asked to build another wall to separate the homes in Viscaya Point from the proposed new apartments.
A wall has already been build to separate some apartments from Woodgate subdivision.
The commission voted to approve the building, but only if the developers built a new wall.
The developers have 30 days to file a suit to appeal.
If they don’t they will have to wait a year before they can come back before the commission.
