Vigo County Sheriff Deputies arrest two people on charges of neglect.
Police were called out to a family altercation at 7550 Pottsville Rd in northwestern Vigo County.
A 911 caller initially reported that 40 year old Jennifer Termine was threatening to shoot family members with a gun.
Police did not find a weapon.
They did find unhealthy conditions in the home that housed Termine, her father 71 year old Norval Sollars, Termine’s 21 year old daughter Ciera Sollars, and her three other children, including a 19 year old autistic girl and two sons aged 16 and 13.
Also living in the home was the 11 year old son of Norval.
Police say that the children got into a physical fight and some had to be treated by medical personnel.
Police found several cats running in the house that was filled with garbage, animal feces and roaches.
It is believed that seven people occupied the home, however only two clutter filled beds were found within the residence.
Indiana Child Protective Services were called in and said that the living conditions for the children were hazardous and unsatisfactory.
They immediately removed the children.
Jennifer Termine and Norval Sollars were then taken into custody and arrested for Neglect of Dependents.
