Its deer season in Indiana and with that goes hunting accidents.
On Sunday a teenage girl was injured in a hunting accident in Fayette County.
Police say the 13-year-old girl was deer hunting when her gun exploded.
She suffered a non-life-threatening injury to her upper body and is expected to make a full recovery.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
The gun that exploded was described as a single shot, break action, 20-gauge firearm.
