A Putnam County school board member and wrestling coach are facing felony charges and could go to prison for 10 years after they were involved in a bar fight in Iowa.
It happened on November 3rd when Cloverdale Community School Board member Brian Asbury and Coach Steve Livingston went to Iowa to pick up wrestling mats.
Police records say that they two beat the victim so badly that he has already needed one surgery and could need several more for injuries to his face and eye.
Both men are currently out of jail on bond.
Iowa authorities say that Asbury admitted to beating both victims repeatedly.
Livingston denied hitting anyone.
Livingston has been placed on administrative leave.
Asbury has a criminal record that includes a DUI and failing a drug screen both in 2012.
