A Terre Haute woman pleads guilty to several charges of neglect and will spend 10 years in prison.
Nikki Russell and her husband, Larry, were arrested in December after one of their adopted sons escaped their home.
Investigators found their other adopted children locked in a room, beaten and covered with bodily fluid.
Under Indiana law, even though Russell was sentenced to 21 years she will only serve a maximum of 10 years.
Prosecutors said in court and presented evidence that Nikki Russell tried to sell prescription drugs while in jail.
Larry Russell also received the same sentence earlier.
