Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Ronald Arrowsmith.
He was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in a home on 1st Avenue on November 8th.
Four of those people were arrested in Texas and have already been brought back to Terre Haute and made initial appearances in court yesterday.
29 year old Cody Thompson was arrested here in Terre Haute on various charges including of possession of a gun by a convicted felon. Also in court were 37 year old Allison Wheeler and 31 year old Marteail Brewer on charges of assisting a criminal.
26 year old Desirae Weaver and 33 year old Damien Tyler were also arrested on lesser charges.
No one yet is facing a murder charge.
Police say that Arrowsmith’s girlfriend told them that he left their residence with Amber Reynolds, Tyler and another man to go to the Reynolds home.
Apparently there was a dispute over a drug debt owed by Thompson.
Amber Reynolds allegedly told police that when everyone went back to her house, Thompson went to the basement and several shots were fired.
Police did find seven bullet holes in a wall of the basement.
Police are continuing their investigation.
