The wife of a man killed by a train last year in Dugger has now filed a lawsuit.
Karen Bedwell is seeking damages for wrongful death from the Uptown Tavern and one of its bartenders.
Barbara Kendall is named as the owner and Leslie Chapman is named as the bartender.
Jeffrey Bedwell was killed by a train in August 2012 as he sat on the tracks near the bar.
The train conductor told investigators Bedwell appeared to be unconscious.
Bedwell’s blood-alcohol content was almost three times the legal limit.
Karen Bedwell says that the bar should have cut her husband off long before he wandered out onto the tracks.
