Rose-Hulman hosted its 48th annual High School Mathematics competition on Saturday. It's one of the largest academic contests in the Midwest, with 26 schools and nearly 400 students taking part. Terre Haute South placed second in the senior and freshman class divisions this year, and third among juniors. Terre Haute North, West Vigo and South Vermillion schools also sent teams to compete.
