Now that Eminem 's has released his highly-anticipated album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, the rapper is expected to dominate the Billboard 200 albums chart next week.

According to the publication , Slim Shady's latest project is projected to sell an estimated   700,000 to 750,000   units in its first seven days in stores, marking the second-largest sales week of the year and ensuring a #1 debut.  Drake 's Nothing Was the Same currently occupies the #2 position, with 658,000 units sold.

While it's unlikely Eminem will surpass debut sales of Justin Timberlake 's The 20/20 Experience , which opened with 968,000 units sold,  The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will mark the rapper's seventh consecutive chart-topper.

Em , who's currently tied with Nas and Kanye West for the second-most #1 albums by a rapper, stands alongside Lil Wayne as being the only rappers s ince 2008 who have sold more than 700,000 copies in a week.  Eminem's  last album, 2010's Recovery , sold 741,000 copies, while Weezy's Tha Carter III sold 1.01 million its first week out in 2008, followed by Wayne's Tha Carter IV in 2011, which sold 964,000 units.
