A grand slam from Jerry Sands helped give the Tribe an early 5-0 lead in the first inning.
Smooth sailing from there on out as the Tribe coasted to an 8-4 win in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Indians starter Brooks Brown got the win with the help of closer Mike Zagurski. Zagurski struck out 3 in 1.1 innings bringing his total to 34 strikeouts in just 19.2 innings.
The Tribe will play game 4 tonight.
