Money problems for a Wabash Valley city.
Sullivan is facing a six figure budget gap and with dwindling revenue from property taxes, the city is again facing reductions. The town is losing about 30 percent of its general fund.
That’s about $300,000. That money pays for everything from roads, sidewalks, police and fire protection.
Just like in Terre Haute, Mayor Clint Lamb says that Sullivan will have to spend a little on a financial advisory firm to advise the city on how to make the most out of what they have now and years down the road.
