Indiana State Police are stepping up efforts to crack down on aggressive and dangerous drivers.
The reason is because those drivers are the ones that cause crashes and can hurt and kill other drivers.
Police are also wanting to reminding drivers to show extra caution when driving near commercial vehicles.
State Police say that many crashes involving commercial vehicles are caused by unsafe driving on the part of passenger car motorists.
The stepped up effort is running now through June 8th.
The program is being called TACT, Ticketing Aggressive Cars and Trucks.
Troopers will be on the lookout for unsafe lane changes, motorists who are following too closely or aggressively, or those who don't yield the right of way to commercial vehicles.
