Gov. Mike Pence has signed into law an expansion of Indiana’s private school voucher program. The bill will make more children eligible for vouchers without first having to spend at least a year in public schools. Opponents say the voucher expansion will drain more money from public schools. About 9,100 Indiana students are receiving vouchers in the second school year of one of the nation’s largest voucher programs.
