Construction hasn’t even started on the new little Nashville Opry and already there is a snag.
The owner of the property in BrownCounty has faced delays because a new music venue will have to be connected to Nashville’s sewer system and right now they are trying to figure out who will pay for that to happen.
The new owner, town and county are negotiating that.
The Little Nashville Opry was destroyed by fire in 2009.
Plans were to have it reopened this year but that will likely not happen.
Officials still hope to at least start construction this year.
The Opry’s former manager is scheduled to face trial in July on arson charges.
