A Vincennes man was shot and killed by police after firing shots at them Monday night.
A Knox County Deputy tried to subdue a man with a gun on that man's front porch.
42 year old Ross Darkis threatened police with a gun and that is when he was shot.
Darkis had reportedly been drinking as was upset and agitated.
Police used stun and beanbag guns to try to subdue Darkis but were forced to use deadly force when he raised his gun at officers.
