Police are trying to determine who shot a man while he was riding on his tractor in a rural area southwest of Crawfordsville.
40 year old Josh Tribby was shot just after 9 p.m. at 2460 West 300 South.
When officers arrived, they found 40 year old Josh Tribby had been shot in the chest.
Police say that Tribby had driven his tractor to his barn when he heard a single gunshot and a short time later realize that he had been shot.
Tribby then drove the tractor back to his home to seek help.
Tribby is recovering at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
