It's an understatement to say that Justin Timberlake 's got a lot going on right now, what with his new album, upcoming summer tour, his deal with Bud Light Platinum, his acting career, his involvement in MySpace and his life as a married man. That's why he may be looking to divest himself of one of his many projects: his clothing line.
The New York Post reports that JT has "all but abandoned" his William Rast clothing line, which he launched in 2005 with his best friend, Trace Ayala . The line last had a fashion show in 2010, the same year it won a Brand of the Year award, and got a distribution deal with Target. But now, the clothes are sold at J.C. Penney, and Justin no longer appears in the brand's ads.
Sources tell the Post that Justin is still involved with William Rast, but "by the end of the year, he won’t be anymore.” A spokesperson for the line didn't deny that Justin was ending his involvement, but told the Post that the singer will be "eternally" connected to William Rast because it's named after his grandfather and Trace's grandfather.
