Vigo County Police arrest a drunk driver after a Tuesday morning chase.

It started when a deputy tried to stop a vehicle that wouldn’t dim its lights on US41 near Oregon Church Road.

The truck took off and the chase reached speeds of over 100MPH.

The vehicle was stopped in the drive way of a home on SR 246.

The driver was identified as 21 year old Tony B Collins.

Collins had a blood alcohol level of point .13 and said he ran because he was afraid of being arrested.

Collins is in the Vigo County Jail on several charges including Resisting Law Enforcement, OVWI, Reckless Driving, and for failure to dim his lights.
