A Terre Haute based bank picks up more branches in Illinois.

First Financial Bank acquired seven branches and two drive up locations from Bank of America.

The branches are located in central and southern Illinois, including Charleston and Mattoon.

Now First Financial will have 37 branches in Illinois, and 36 in Indiana.

Under the agreement, First Financial will acquire over $250 million in deposits and $2.3 million in small business loans.
