A teen that took part in a crime spree after escaping Gibault School in 2011 was sentenced in court.

Andre Moton was one of three teens that beat one man, stole a car from another, led police on a chase and then crashed the stolen car.

17-year-old Therlow Pope of Gary, Indiana died from that crash.

Last September, Moton pleaded guilty to robbery and carjacking but a judge withdrew his plea.

Moton was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
