A Parke County man who fired shots at police while barricaded in a Rosedale home last July was sentenced in court Friday.
The judge said he found inconsistencies between Buza's testimony and what he told police during the investigation. Buza faced 74 years on all counts, but was sentenced to 40-year sentence, with 6 years suspended and credit for time served.
He was initially facing charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness.
Buza said that he plans to appeal.
