A fatal accident on I-70 at the 24 mile maker near the Brazil exit around 8:30 last night.

It involved 4 semi trucks and a car.

Indiana State Police say the driver of the first semi could not avoid a large tree that had fallen into the roadway.

The truck went off the road and landed in a watery ditch.

That driver, 53 year old Robert J. Reedy II from Brazil died at the scene.

The remaining three semis and passenger car sustained moderate to heavy damage, but the drivers were not injured.
