A Terre Haute man arrested Sunday night after leading police on a chase.
39 year old Christopher Ellinger apparently had some kind of domestic dispute and went for a drive.
Police say that he wrecked his van on the U.S.40 river bridge and when police tried to stop him he took off.
Ellinger stopped in a parking lot after trying to run over an officer and then pulled a gun.
Ellinger was persuaded to co operate after police used a taser and baton.
He is now in the Vigo County Jail facing several charges including criminal recklessness, attempted battery of an officer and public intoxication.
