There's new hope for a casino in Danville.

A senate committee says "okay" to five new casinos in the state in Danville, Rockford, three in or near Chicago and slots at both of Chicago's airports.

The bill calls for this as a way to bail out state schools from big budget cuts.

They estimate the new casinos could bring in as much as $1 billion. Governor Quinn hinted Wednesday he's opening up to the idea.
