Rihanna has opened up about her relationship with Chris Brown in the April issue of Elle UK .
The singer reportedly tells the magazine that Brown, who assaulted her four years ago, has matured and is a changed man. Rihanna explains, "Right now, that's just what we want, a great friendship, that's unbreakable." She adds, "Now that we’re adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and we’re thankful for that."
She continues, "You don’t have that feeling with everybody so when you have it, you don't want to let go of it. I would definitely say he is the one I have that kind of relationship with."
Rihanna doesn't consider herself to be a victim. She tells the magazine that the gun tattoo on the right side of her torso is a symbol of empowerment she got soon after that 2009 incident. Rihanna says, "Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life. Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No." The "Stay" singer notes, "That's why I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength. I'll never be a victim."
While she may not believe herself to be a victim, there is one thing Rihanna definitely wants to be -- a mom. When questioned about where she sees herself in five years, the singer responds, "I will probably have a kid."
