Indiana health officials are keeping on alert for signs of the swine flu at county fairs around the state.
The state health department says there were 138 cases of that the swine flu strain reported in Indiana last year.
The State Board of Animal Health says 13 pigs at the GrantCounty fair tested positive for H3N2.
Health officials say human infections with swine flu are rare but have most commonly occurred after being near live infected pigs.
To help prevent infection you should always wash your hands and keep food away from live stock barns.
