Illinois State Sen. Bill Brady is the latest among many to announce his bid to become the next governor of Illinois.
The Bloomington Republican plans to formally announce the move today at appearances across the state.
Brady joins an already crowded 2014 Republican field. Illinois
Treasurer Dan Rutherford, Chicago businessman Bruce Rauner and state Sen. Kirk Dillard have already announced bids in the March 8 primary.
n 2010 Brady narrowly lost to Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn by less than one percent of 3.6 million votes.
