A woman that was injured when she was bitten by a lion at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in ClayCounty is doing better.
21-year-old Marissa Dub has now been upgraded to fair condition at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
The family has said no further information will be released.
Dub was apparently cleaning a cage at the center near Center Point, when the cat returned to the cage through a door was accidentally left open.
Officials say that this was an incident and not an attack.
They say if it were an attack Dub would not have survived.
The tiger is an 18-year-old male named Raja.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is investigating.
