A suspicious package was blown up by police Monday outside the Federal Courthouse in Indianapolis.
The bag was spotted by a security guard who called police.

After the package was blown up, Indianapolis Metro Police said the explosive material in the backpack was identified as fireworks and another substance in the backpack was identified as marijuana.
