Former Terre Haute North and IU catcher Josh Phegley is having a remarkable season in Triple -A ball.
Phegley was drafted 38th overall by the Chicago White Sox in the 2009 MLB draft. He currently plays for the Charlotte Knights who just wrapped up a 4-game series against the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field on Monday.
Phegley went 0-4 last night bringing his average down to .320 but hit a key homerun in Sunday’s victory over the Tribe. He has hit a career high 13 homeruns with 36 RBI.
