A semi accident just north of the Lyford Y on U.S. Highway 41 took down power lines and stopped traffic for a good portion of the day Wednesday. Police say that the driver of the truck was 66 year old James Griffin of Mecca.
He was traveling north on 41 around noon when he lost control of the truck in a turn and the truck rolled.
Officials report that Griffin was trapped inside the cab as his leggs were pinned behind the motor of his semi for about two hours.
Once removed Griffin was flown to an Indianapolis hospital where he was listed in fair condition Thursday afternoon.
