It’s not the law in Illinois yet but if Governor Pat Quinn signs the medical marijuana bill there are a lot of questions still to be answered.
The measure is being called the strictest in the nation.
The measure's sponsor says there'd be minimal impact on employers with a zero-tolerance drug policy. But critics say there could be legal issues related to hiring and firing workers who test positive for the drug or show up to work while they're impaired.
So pot may become legal but could you go to work high? And if you test positive could an employer not hire you or could you be fired.
If the bill becomes law that is something that will have to be worked out.
