The Indiana Department of Education is moving forward as they try to figure out just what went wrong with this year's ISTEP, what caused the problems, and what affect it has had on students and school systems around the state.
The Department of Ed has hired the NationalCenter for Improvement of Educational Assessment to look at the test results.
The center is expected to take four to five weeks to complete the review.
Educators around the state had worried the problems that came up during testing could impact the reliability of results.
Online test-takers were knocked off line multiple times during the test and only a limited number could go online to take the test.
Test results also figure into how teachers are evaluated as their raises depend on the test results.
