Singer/songwriter Mike Posner first made his presence known on the pop music scene with the smash hit "Cooler than Me," followed by "Please Don't Go." He's been spending a lot of time lately creating songs for other artists, but now he's back with a brand new single and a new album...and he's hitting the road with Ke$ha .
Mike's new single "The Way It Used to Be," will arrive at digital outlets Tuesday; the lyric video is now on Vevo . It's the lead track from Mike's second album, Pages , which will be out later this year. Starting August 9, he'll hit the road as the opening act for Ke$ha's Warrior tour.
In a statement, Mike says, "I'm beyond excited to share 'The Way It Used to Be' with the world. I love releasing music in the summer when the weather is beautiful and people are happy."
Over the past few years, Mike's kept busy co-writing and producing such hits as Justin Bieber 's "Boyfriend" and Labrinth 's "Beneath Your Beautiful," and working with the likes of Big Sean , Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa .
