Students may actually benefit from the Obama Care delay.
This delay in Obama Care means that cutbacks being made within the Vigo County School Corporation will be delayed as well.
The cutbacks included scaling back the hours of all educational assistants and teacher’s aides, to less than 30 hours per week or the school corporation would have to provide them with health insurance.
With the cutback in hours these individuals were set to get an hourly raise to compensate for lost hours.
For now all part-time teachers aides will return to their normal hours. Which means students will get the help they need.
The decision to re-implement the Affordable Care Act will be made in October.
