A Terre Haute man is facing neglect charges in the care of his mother.
Paul Hostetler is charged with neglect and non-support of a parent.
He lived with his mother, Dorothy Hostetler, at her Boston Avenue home in Terre Towne.
She apparently died Tuesday morning and that is when Hostetler called police.
Preliminary autopsy results show Dorothy Hostetler died of malnutrition, dehydration, and severe bed sores.
Three years ago, Paul Hostetler removed his mother from the Royal Oaks Healthcare Facility.
Adult protective services say that Dorothy Hostetler was in good health the last time they spoke to her in November 2011.
