TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Police Department reported Tuesday that it had arrested a father accused of abusing his seven-week-old child.
THPD’s investigation began on Oct. 2, 2020, and on Tuesday, police arrested the father of the child, Quinten D. Joseph, for domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury to a person less than 14 years of age, neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury and strangulation. Joseph is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
The child survived the battery and is doing well, according to THPD.
